Adrienne Perkins R.A.c

Adrienne started her acupuncture practice in 2011 and has since become specialized in the treatment of muscle pain and tension. She is furthering her education to include concussion therapy, PTSD resolution and mental/emotional support. She uses her background as a massage therapist, her love of acupuncture and her deep desire to assist those struggling with internal battles, to provide a wholesome, effective and caring treatment. 


Adrienne was born, raised and educated in Calgary, AB. She relocated to the Slocan Valley in May 2016 and has been happily growing her practice and raising her now 5-year-old son ever since!


Adrienne Perkins earned her Doctorate of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2010 at the Canadian Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Calgary, AB. She spent the last 3 months of her 4 years of schooling interning at hospital in Mianyang, China.

Since her graduation she has taken several continuing education courses, specifically in the realm of sports medicine (ie: muscle pain and tension relief). 

In 2015 she became licensed in the province of British Columbia and is recognized as Registered Acupuncturist (R.Ac) in BC. 

In 2018 she started in her training to become a Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapist. She will be graduating from that program in 2020.
